Terms of Service

These Terms of Service explain the conditions that apply when you use our website, request a quote, communicate with us, or schedule cleaning services with LionGuard Floor Care.

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of lionguardfloorcare.com and your interactions with LionGuard LLC, doing business as LionGuard Floor Care. In these Terms, “LionGuard,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to LionGuard LLC doing business as LionGuard Floor Care.

By using our website, submitting a quote request, scheduling an appointment, or authorizing us to perform services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or schedule services with us.

2. Our Services

LionGuard provides residential and commercial floor and fabric cleaning services, which may include:

  • Carpet cleaning
  • Tile and grout cleaning
  • Upholstery cleaning
  • Area rug cleaning
  • Spot, stain, odor, and pet-related treatments
  • Other related cleaning services agreed to in writing or by message

The specific scope of work, price, and service conditions may vary by property, material, condition, accessibility, and customer request.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Quotes may be based on information you provide, including photographs, room counts, measurements, descriptions, property details, or an on-site evaluation.

A quote is based on the information reasonably available at the time it is provided. Pricing may be adjusted before work begins if the actual size, condition, material, number of items, level of soiling, access requirements, or requested scope differs materially from the information originally provided.

We will communicate any material price change before performing additional work. Taxes, specialty treatments, added areas, or other approved services may be charged separately when applicable.

4. Scheduling and Property Access

Appointment times are scheduled in good faith. Arrival times may be affected by traffic, weather, equipment issues, the condition of earlier jobs, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays.

You are responsible for providing safe and lawful access to the property at the scheduled time. An adult authorized to approve the work should be present or reachable by telephone unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

If we cannot access the property, cannot reach an authorized contact, or encounter unsafe conditions, we may delay, reschedule, or cancel the appointment.

5. Customer Preparation and Responsibilities

Before the appointment, customers should complete any preparation instructions provided by LionGuard. This may include:

  • Vacuuming carpet when requested
  • Removing small, fragile, valuable, or breakable items
  • Clearing toys, clothing, cords, and personal belongings
  • Securing pets away from the work area
  • Identifying known stains, damage, loose flooring, or problem areas
  • Providing access to water, electricity, parking, and the service area when required

We are not responsible for damage to items that were not disclosed, secured, or removed after reasonable preparation instructions were provided.

6. Furniture and Personal Property

Furniture moving is not automatically included unless specifically agreed upon. We may move certain light items when reasonably safe, but we generally do not move oversized, fragile, electronic, antique, heavily loaded, permanently installed, or high-risk items.

Customers should remove valuables, fragile objects, collectibles, electronics, medications, cash, important documents, and other sensitive items from the work area before service begins.

Important Service Information

7. Cleaning Results and Stain Removal

LionGuard will make reasonable professional efforts to improve the cleanliness and appearance of the surfaces or items being treated. However, cleaning results vary depending on material, age, wear, prior treatments, construction, damage, contamination, and the type and duration of stains or odors.

Complete removal of every stain, spot, discoloration, odor, traffic pattern, or pre-existing condition is not guaranteed.

Some conditions may be permanent or may become more noticeable after surrounding soil is removed. These conditions can include dye loss, fiber damage, wear, fading, bleaching, filtration lines, pet damage, grout deterioration, previous chemical damage, and discoloration originating beneath the surface.

8. Pre-Existing Conditions and Material Risks

Customers should disclose known damage, prior chemical treatments, repairs, pet contamination, loose seams, unstable grout, color bleeding, shrinkage concerns, delicate fabrics, specialty fibers, or other unusual conditions before service begins.

Cleaning may reveal or affect pre-existing weaknesses that were not visible before soil was removed. LionGuard is not responsible for ordinary wear, manufacturing defects, improper installation, previous damage, hidden defects, unstable dyes, deterioration, or conditions caused by prior cleaning products or treatments.

We may decline to clean an item or area when we reasonably believe the material cannot be treated safely or the requested service would create an unreasonable risk.

9. Drying and Post-Service Care

Drying times vary based on temperature, humidity, ventilation, fiber type, soil level, treatment method, and other environmental conditions.

Customers are responsible for following post-service instructions, including ventilation recommendations and restrictions on walking, replacing furniture, using cleaned items, or allowing pets and children into treated areas before they are sufficiently dry.

10. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of service. We may accept payment through cash, check, electronic payment, card, invoice, or another approved method.

Commercial, property-management, or approved vendor accounts may be subject to separate written payment terms. Customers are responsible for any approved additional services, applicable taxes, returned-payment charges, or reasonable collection costs permitted by law.

11. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Repeated cancellations, last-minute cancellations, missed appointments, inaccessible properties, or appointments requiring significant reserved time may be subject to a deposit, cancellation fee, or scheduling restriction when disclosed before a future appointment is confirmed.

12. Service Concerns

We want customers to feel cared for and satisfied with their experience. Please notify us promptly if you have a concern about completed work so we have a reasonable opportunity to inspect the area and address the issue.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer additional evaluation, reasonable corrective cleaning, or another appropriate resolution. Any remedy will be determined based on the condition, service performed, material limitations, and surrounding circumstances.

13. Photographs and Service Documentation

We may take photographs or videos of the service area to document its condition, support a quote, record completed work, address customer concerns, or maintain business records.

We will not intentionally publish photographs that clearly identify you, your address, personal documents, family members, or other sensitive information without permission. Before-and-after photographs may be used for educational or marketing purposes when identifying information is removed or when separate permission has been obtained.

14. Website Use

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the website, gain unauthorized access to its systems, submit fraudulent requests, impersonate another person, introduce malicious software, scrape protected content, or use the website in a manner that could damage LionGuard or other users.
